Spectra is an Adventure RPG with focus on dungeon crawling and exploration. The game's storyline is based on the player-character, Nox, as they fight their way across the land in search of the 4 orbs of power. These orbs grant abilities to the player that are vital in the quest to vanquish evil and complete the game. This project was developed strictly over a 3 month period, and is a testament to mine and my colleagues hard work and dedication.

On top of the development of the game itself, we were required to create a Game Design Document to keep all collaborators on the same page.

Spectra - 2nd Year Collaboration

The second semester of my university course included a 3-month collaborative project. My group and I developed a top-down, 2D Fantasy Adventure game that we titled Spectra. The game revolved around the player exploring an expansive land in search for orbs of power in order to destroy the great evil.


For this project my roles were:

- Level Designer for the overworld, dungeons, and villages.

- Music Composer for the majority of tracks.

- Game Flow Designer.

- UI designer and programmer.

- General Game Programming (focus on item interaction and effect).

- Keeper of Documentation.

The entirety of the game was made within the 3 month period.
